Influenced by vocal-laden UK garage and the smokey lounge vibes of UK jazz, Lu.Re delivers five cuts of introverted, viola-laced 2-step and UKG.

Both dark and hopeful, Ruminate EP is about the struggles of coping with anxiety and trying to focus on the present and the people you love. Diagnosed with OCD shortly after writing the EP, Lu.Re says: “I’m a big over thinker and when I was writing the EP I was dealing with a lot of anxiety. I had no idea what I was experiencing was OCD because it wasn’t washing hands, it was mental compulsions for me - rumination. The EP was already written when I understood what was going on with some help from the NHS, so looking back it’s a bit wild it came out so blatantly as Ruminate. I hope it can bring some light to others."
